| Easter programme for deaf :
|
| Easter programmer was conducted for about 50 deaf from 5 cities on Sunday, the 19th of March, 2006. Occasions such as Religious and national festivals give us the opportunity to teach the deaf about the importance and bring about a general awareness of why each festival is observed or followed or celebrated .the history related to that particular event. Due to the communication barrier that the deaf face, their knowledge of many things is also limited and we want to help them to be more knowledgeable and up to par with all the happenings in the world. We have conducted classes on various current events and the major present-day issues in the world . The class on Easter consisted of video clips and power points on the death of Jesus and the events surrounding it.
