Character development classes, Marriage counseling & Youth counseling :
Every Sunday, Personality and moral development classes are held in 5 cities for over 300 deaf in Tamilnadu and Kerala. Many deaf benefit from tips and pointers on successful marriage through classes, deep and open communication with Experts of Family Care. Similarly many directionless youth also received counsel, help and direction in their lives, with regards to jobs, interpersonal relations, etc.,
Personality enhancement programmes for deaf women :
Family Care conducts regular weekly classes for deaf women.
Self-Employment programmes :
Four of the full-time deaf instructors are going through a course on marketing and sales techniques and skills to enable them to be independent bread winners of their families.
Training in Computer technology / education :
The full-tome instructors also receive training in video production and editing technology and are well-versed with the latest input.
Regional Conference for deaf leaders in the South :
Conferences on a regional level were conducted at Kodaikanal and Hyderabad to strengthen the leadership structure in 7 cities of Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhrapradesh.
